the taste of her hair
is bitter in his mouth
like dirt from the ground
of the forests down south

clear and white
is her skin in the light
like milk from the trees

in a bed of leaves
her blood runs bright
as red as the sea

she had no choice
when her lovely voice
was silenced by the birds

flowers bloomed out
of her lovely mouth
where love used to speak

"come on little girl
follow me once more
if you can't be mine
we'll die in this shore"

that's what he said
to bring her to death
he took his own life
as she had her last breath

the story ends in silence
with both dead on the sand
may this be a lesson
